Inflatable booms (barriers) are designed to protect areas from floods, waterlogging, and water spills. They are used for rapid control and diversion of water flows during emergencies and can be deployed at both temporary and permanent locations.
The design of the barriers ensures rapid deployment and commissioning, which is particularly important in emergency situations. Thanks to valves for filling with water or air, the booms are easy to transport, quick to install, and require no complex maintenance.
The barriers are made of a two-layer, high-strength PVC material with an outer coating of high-quality rubber that is resistant to aging and the effects of petroleum products. The material is characterized by high strength, resistance to climatic influences, does not dissolve in water, alcohols, alkaline, acidic, and saline solutions, is flame-retardant, has low electrical conductivity, and withstands both low and high temperatures.
Thanks to these characteristics, the barriers can be used for extended periods in aquatic environments and under direct sunlight. They are suitable for use in various water bodies and infrastructure facilities, including bays, harbors, ports, piers, rivers, reservoirs, and other water bodies.
