The AQUA Weir Oil Skimmer is a floating oil recovery system designed to collect oil and petroleum products of different viscosities from the water surface.
It is suitable for use in ports, harbours, calm rivers, floodplains, artificial reservoirs and other protected water areas. The AQUA skimmer can also be used for stationary oil recovery applications, including sedimentation and industrial tanks.
Efficient Oil Recovery
The AQUA skimmer uses an adjustable weir system to collect the upper layer of contaminated liquid from the water surface.
The recovered oil-water mixture flows into the skimmer and is transferred through a hose by an external pump to a storage tank or other receiving system.
By adjusting the hydraulic flow and skimmer position, the operator can control the thickness of the recovered surface layer and optimise the collection process according to the spill conditions.

For all standard AQUA models, free-water capture is specified at less than 5%, helping reduce unnecessary storage volume and further separation requirements.
