The ECONAD VAC 1 is a mobile vacuum recovery unit designed for the collection and transfer of spilled oil, petroleum products and contaminated liquids from solid surfaces, soil and water.
The system can also be used for cleaning oil tanks, settling tanks, reservoirs, pits and other areas where contaminated liquids need to be removed quickly and efficiently.
Efficient Vacuum Recovery
The ECONAD VAC 1 uses vacuum pressure to collect spilled oil and contaminated liquids through a suction hose and transfer them into an integrated collection tank.
A vacuum pump creates negative pressure inside the tank, drawing the recovered product directly from the contaminated area.
Once the tank is filled, the collected liquid can be discharged either by gravity or by creating positive pressure inside the tank, depending on the system configuration
The ECONAD VAC 1 can be used for:
- Emergency oil spill response
- Recovery of oil and petroleum products
- Cleaning contaminated industrial surfaces
- Collection of oil from soil and hard surfaces
- Removal of floating oil from water
- Cleaning oil storage tanks
- Cleaning settling tanks and reservoirs
- Collection of contaminated liquids from pits and sumps
- Industrial maintenance and cleaning operations
The compact configuration allows the VAC 1 to be transported and deployed directly at the contaminated area.
Different suction nozzles can be used depending on the type of surface and recovered material, making the system suitable for a wide range of emergency and industrial applications.
The ECONAD VAC 1 provides a recovery capacity of up to 20 m³/h, allowing significant quantities of oil and contaminated liquid to be collected within a relatively short period.
The system can be equipped with collection tanks of different capacities depending on operational requirements.
Depending on the configuration, the vacuum system can be powered by an internal combustion engine or an electric power unit.
This makes the VAC 1 suitable for both industrial facilities with an available power supply and emergency response operations in remote locations.
The unit can be equipped with a self-priming transfer pump for discharging recovered oil products from the collection tank.
Collected liquids can be transferred through a discharge hose directly to:
- Temporary storage tanks
- Road tankers
- Intermediate bulk containers
- Waste collection systems
- Oil-water separation equipment
The ECONAD VAC 1 can be supplied with the equipment required for complete recovery operations, including:
