Our future

To date, the development of ECONAD has received international recognition, as evidenced by the fact that at the World Exhibition of Environmental Technologies EXPO in Japan, our company was nominated in the competition “100 best world environmental technologies to create appropriate living conditions in the future”.

ECONAD specialists are constantly working on new technologies and products that can effectively combat environmental pollution. Among the key developments that have become widespread are:

• Boom barriers for oil spill containment. Our containment booms provide a reliable containment of oil products on the water surface, preventing their spread. We produce various types of booms, including inflatable booms “Econad RB5”, which are made of durable and UV-resistant materials. They are successfully used for protection of water areas of sea ports, rivers, lakes and industrial water bodies.
• Barrier booms “Medusa”. This barrier protection network is used not only to limit the spillage of petroleum products, but also to prevent jellyfish infestation on the coast. It is actively used in fishing, as well as for protection of recreation areas and tourist facilities.
• Skimmer for oil collection. Effective equipment designed to remove oil products and oil films from the water surface. Our skimmers are used at oil refineries and in emergency situations in case of oil spills.
• SmartBin floating skimmer. The SmartBin is connected by hoses to a high-capacity motorized pump that sucks up contaminated water, filters it and returns it back to the water body. This device effectively removes contaminants such as coal or grain dust, oil films and solid waste, thereby keeping pools, harbors and natural water bodies clean.

Econad booms are widely used in various fields:

1. Elimination of emergency spills of oil and oil products.
2. Protection of water bodies from pollution in industrial areas.
3. Creation of safe areas for bathing and recreation, prevention of jellyfish infestation.
4. Limiting the spread of algae and debris in water areas.

Our booms are characterized by high resistance to aggressive media, strength and durability, which makes them indispensable for environmental protection.

Today, ECONAD is actively developing and entering the international market. We cooperate with companies from many countries, supplying our equipment for water pollution control. We are currently working on opening another office in Romania to be even closer to our European partners and customers.
